There to be com modais

É possível utilizar there to be com todos os verbos modais, como Can, Could, Should, Must, etc.

Todavia, o there to be ficará invariável para there + modal + be. Dê uma olhada nos exemplos a seguir:

Em frases afirmativas:

There should be more subways in São Paulo. Deveria haver mais metrôs em São Paulo.

There will be a barbecue next Saturday. Haverá um churrasco no sábado.

There could be more chairs here. Poderia haver mais cadeiras aqui.

Em frases negativas:

There shouldn't be so much noise near the hospital. Não deveria haver tanto barulho perto do hospital.

There won't be anything to do there. Não haverá nada para fazer lá.

There couldn't be a better place to go. Não poderia haver melhor lugar para ir.

Em frases interrogativas:

Should there be few people in this bus. Deveria haver menos pessoas nesse ônibus?

Will there be someone waiting for me? Haverá alguém me esperando?

Could there be more kindness among people? Poderia haver mais gentileza entre as pessoas?

Muito importante: O que vai definir o plural e singular será seus marcadores específicos. Por exemplo: 

Substantivos contáveis:
